Overview

Introducing the concept video for the VisionPro app: Arabic for Kids. This app is designed to make language learning fun and engaging, seamlessly combining playfulness with educational depth.

For this project, I created all the 3D characters from scratch, starting with sculpting, then moving through rigging, shading, surfacing, and grooming, and finally lighting each scene to bring the visuals to life. Once the 3D elements were complete, I moved on to compositing, video editing, and coloring. These final steps were essential to ensure a polished, cohesive visual experience and a compelling overall look.

3D Character Design

Each character was sculpted from scratch, beginning in ZBrush, where I focused on creating soft, rounded shapes and exaggerated features to emphasize friendliness and emotional clarity. Once sculpted, the characters were Zremeshed in Zbrush and UV-mapped and rigged in Maya for clean deformation during animation.

Textures were painted in Substance Painter, using vibrant, saturated colors and smooth gradients to align with the brand’s visual identity. Shaders and grooming were set up in Maya, with particular attention to soft fur giving the characters a tactile, inviting look. Lighting and rendering were done in Arnold.

3D Environment

The environment was designed to be simple yet rich with personality. Using modular and elements that appears in the iOS app of Arabic4kids, I created colorful playground scenes with smooth surfaces, gentle curves, and stylized lighting.

3D Outro

This 3D outro was designed as the closing animation for Arabic for Kids, with the aim of leaving a memorable visual impact while reinforcing the brand’s playful and educational identity. The entire artwork was modeled in ZBrush, textured in Substance Painter, assembled in Cinema 4D, and rendered using Octane. Each letter was carefully sculpted to evoke a soft, toy-like feel and finished with vibrant, inviting colors that align with the brand’s friendly aesthetic. The environment was designed to be simple yet rich with personality.
